Ananda bazaar declared prohibited zonetext size increase   text size decrease   Print    rss (२०७३ फाल्गुन २८, शनिवार)

The Ananda bazaar area that remained tensed after the Indian SSB force killed a Nepali national has been declared the prohibited zone from 10 am to 5 pm today.

Chief District Officer of Kanchanpur Manohar Prasad Khanal said that the prohibitory order was declared, considering the tensed environment at Ananda bazaar area of Punarbas Municipality in Kanchanpur district. Gobinda Gautam of Ananda bazaar was killed in the SSB firing on Thursday.

CDO Khanal said that the areas of upto 500 meters east, west and north from Ananda bazaar and upto Nepal-India border has been declared the prohibited zone. RSS
