Rastriya Jana Morcha sees NC’s proposal against nationality itself

Kathmandu, Nepal – Rastriya Jana Morcha (RJM), Nepal, has objected to the 10 provinces model floated by the Maoist party, citing that the proposal would challenge country’s communal harmony and national integrity.

The model of multi-nationalism, ethnicity based federal states and right to self-determination could not balance the national harmony, the party said issuing a press statement on Saturday.

The party also suggested that the country should be federated by guaranteeing equal access to both neighbouring countries–India and China–and by including the diversities of Mountain, Hill and Tarai Regions.
