Four dead in separate road accidents

Kathmandu, Nepal – Two persons died on the spot when a bus (Lu 1 Kha 31) en route to Butwal from Tansen met with accident at Lamdanda in Tansen municipality this morning.

At least 14 person sustained injury in the incident. Both the deceased are men with the age of 20 and 35. The injured are being treated in Lumbini Medical College in Tansen, said Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP), Meera Chaudhary.


Meanwhile, two persons died in a vehicle accident in Dulari-5, Morang along the East-West Highway last night.

Janardan Subedi died when a car (Ba 8 Cha 5741) heading towards east hit him at around 7.00 pm on Monday.

Critically injured Subedi died at 11.am last night on the way to Koshi Zonal Hospital, said the District Police Office, Morang. Police took the car under control.
In yet another accident, Yubaraj Karki, 21, of Urlabari breathed his last when a truck (Na 2 Kha 6175) hit his motorcycle (Me 2 Pa 4273) at Pathari-1 on Monday night.
