
CHITWAN – As many as 980 ex-combatants across the country have filled up forms for integration into the national army until today.
Various examinations required in course of the selection of applicants for recruitment into the army, including the ‘wearing’ test, high jump and long jump, said Army Integration Special Committee Secretariat coordinator Balananda Sharma.
Sharma has been in Shaktikhor of Chitwan to handle the process for selection of ex-combatants to be integrated into the army.
Among those filling up forms include 202 in Chitwan Shaktikhor camp, 155 in Nawalparasi-based camp, 82 in Ilam, 102 in Sindhuli, 95 in Kailali, 234 in Surkhet and 109 in Rolpa, Sharma informed media this evening.
During the earlier selection process, a total of 3,123 ex-combatants across the country had registered their names for integration.
It is noted that members of the special committee secretariat and representatives of Nepal Army and Public Service Commission are involved in the selection process. RSS
