KATHMANDU – Opposition parties, including Nepali Congress and CPN UML, have announced their additional program of protest against the government today. Calling a press conference at the UML headquarters in Balkhu, the opposition parties made public their protest programs which as said would kick off from 17th of November.
As per the program, they will hold an interaction with civil society members on November 17 and a discussion on budget with economic experts, industrialist and business entrepreneurs on November 20.Likewise, the parties will hold a joint mass meet in the capital on November 23 and gatherings of their cadres in districts across the country.
At the press conference today, they also announced to bring down the government through agitation and have appealed on all citizens to participate in the same.
The first phase of the opposition parties’ 7point protest program will conclude on 14th of December. They have stated they would come up with further programs of protest if the governmnet didn’t become serious about striking consensus by the end of the first phase protest programs. RSS
