KATHMANDU – Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai on Sunday vented ire on the President and opposition parties for tying up his hands.
Speaking at a program in the capital, organised to mark the 33rd anniversary of Padma Kanya Campus, the PM said so referring to the President’s denial to endorse ordinances necessary to run the nation.
He complained that they have been compelled to run the government without budget as a full-fledged budget could not come due to obstruction of the opposition parties.
On the occasion he established a revolving fund of Rs. 200,000 at Kanya Multiple Campus, Dilli Bazaar, in the name of his mother the late Dharma Kumari Bhattarai.
He also assured that he will manage budget for the construction of a building of the campus in the next budget though a full-fledged budget could not be brought due to the transitional period.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of a 12-room building of the campus and also distributed certificates and letters of honour to the best students and former and incumbent members of the management committee. rss
